Traditional physiotherapy is prescribed by a medical doctor and treats problems arising from accidents, wear and tear and / or operations via manual techniques and targeted gymnastics. Thermal stimulants (warm or cold), electrotherapy and ultrasound applications support the treatment. Depending on the type of problem, all of these measures serve to improve mobility, strengthen, promote relaxation and enhance circulation, in order to improve motor functions and posture in everyday situations.

If you would like to prevent future complaints or have questions about posture and training, - our Physio Check-up is just right for you.

 Our experienced physiotherapists will find issues in your movement patterns, check your mobility and find imbalances in your musculature.

 You will receive exercises and tips for your training. If necessary, we can also recommend further therapies or clarifications or refer you directly to a specialist.

 Follow-up Physio Check-up: after you have implemented the exercise/training recommendations for 3-4 months, you can check the success in a follow-up.

 Physio check-up is not covered by basic health insurance.

Craniosacral therapy

For over 25 years, the osteopathic physician and researcher Dr. John E. Upledger, D.O., O.M.M., has promoted the idea that the rhythm of an additional system - the craniosacral system – be used to improve physical functions, to ease pain and improves health. The craniosacral system consists of membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. It runs from the skull, face and jaw bones, the cranium along the spine to the sacrum and coccyx.

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle manual method for evaluating treatment of this system. It enables the body‘s own natural healing mechanisms to counteract the adverse effects of stress on the central nervous system. At the same time, it improves health and strengthens resistance to disease.

FOI (functional orthonomy and integration) is an independent, holistic manual therapy concept.

Since our joints are connected in our body, they influence each other's function. If one element in this chain does not function optimally, this automatically has an influence on all other joints. This leads to compensation behavior, which can cause pain in other region of the body.

FOI is a very gentle and efficient treatment method, which is suitable for every person -from children to old age. Fine mobilizations are used to try to bring the body back into balance and to eliminate the pain.

SHIATSU

Shiatsu is a non-invasive form of therapeutic bodywork from Japan, which is performed without oils through light, comfortable clothing. The therapy may help reduce stress and contribute to overall well-being. Proponents believe that it has both preventative and remedial effects.

Ideal when you are overstressed, tense or anxious. Our therapist employs techniques to disperse your «excess» energy. In this way, the Qi is regulated. Shiatsu works to alleviate a range of conditions, restore balance and promote health.

Reflexology massage

This is an energetic massage, which is solved on the cognition that each part of the body reacts on a certain point of the feet and that through pressure of these reflex points the whole body relaxes and will be brought back to its balance. The Lymph-gland massage counts to the manual massage technics with which the lymph flow will be activated.
